TMS Project at Ocean Modules
A group consisting of 14 engineering students from the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH) in Stockholm have been given the opportunity to design and construct a revolutionary tether management system (TMS) for the new Ocean Modules Offshore V8 Sii ROV.
The group will face challenges in areas such as electronics, physics, control systems, integration and quality control.
Ocean Modules will provide engineering support and all necessary components, such optical links, slip rings and motors.
