V8 Sii Sale to Italy
Ocean Modules CEO Claes Drougge and Elettronica Service Master Technician Fernando Cugliari have signed a contract for a V8 Sii ROV, with a second delivery planned for late 2008.
As soon as the company has completed basic operations training at the Ocean Modules facility in Åtvidaberg, the ROV will be sent to perform important searches off the coast of Sardinia, at a depth of 500 meters.
The Ocean Modules ROV has been proven through several demos in the area to have the power and stability to operate without a tether management system at the required depth.
